I came upon a girl

Trying to climb a tree

The first limb just beyond reach

Now in the old days

I would have just gone over

Pushed her up

But I saw granny glaring

At me through the single wide

door so I just nodded 

and was thankful 

someone once came by

and pushed me to the

First limb.
