As I mentioned in the blog earlier in the month, I was the featured speaker for July. My topic was intaglio printing. I took many of my etchings with plates in clear bags to pass around. I spoke on Rembrandt and Whistler primarily, with examples from their work and why they are my favorite artists in the medium of intaglio etching.
Melanie, Pearce and my mom were able to attend. Most of the folks seemed to enjoy the presentation.
Melanie said I was difficult to photograph as I moved around too much...
